This pattern is a collage of geometric imagery blending ancient motifs with a handcrafted feel.
It's a design with a strong presence, distinctly AKIRANAKA—constructive yet somehow conveying the warmth of human touch.
Every day in our atelier, we engage with various sketches, graphic work, and craftsmanship. All designs launched each season begin with our designers drawing their concepts by hand with pen. We believe beauty resides in what the hand draws and shapes, in the individuality and irregularities that emerge within it. For this reason, many of the patterns AKIRANAKA creates retain the brushstrokes of hand-painted production. This tote bag was created by gathering sketches and doodles drawn by the designers during the creative process and using them as graphics.
