Fared skirt featuring unique graphics created by delicately stitched patterns, bringing a new modernity.
The graphic, which expressed a stripe pattern designed to have inherent regularity by hand-drawn stitching, was designed inspired by the “vitality” found in the works of American abstract painter Mark Rothko, this season's theme.
Guided by his proposal to regard paintings as “living entities,” we expressed the humanity and individuality inherent in paintings by depicting stitches that reveal a delicate flow while appearing slightly worn.
The sharp impression of the stripes is elevated into a graphic that exudes a unique modern elegance, imbued with AKIRANAKA's signature originality.
Crafted from rayon modal with its beautiful drape and subtle sheen, it exudes a luxurious mood with its soft texture.
The elegant flare skirt, with volume added toward the hem, flutters lightly with movement, lending a powerful attitude to sophisticated style.
