Size Guide
Sleeveless shirt with a newly modern balance created by incorporating different lapel designs on the left and right sides.
This season's theme, “Beyond the haze (unreachable reality),” was inspired by the work of German abstract painter Gerhard Richter and the concepts he tried to express.
We attempted to design by developing the “arbitrariness” found in his abstract paintings using a squeegee (a board-like tool used in place of a brush to spread paint).
The shirt, in which randomly selected lapels of different shapes on the left and right sides are intentionally crossed into one, expresses new values and beauty created in its contingency.
According to his recommendation to “make everything equally important and everything equally unimportant,” we sought to see if the act of choosing between a newly drawn design and an existing design could be equated, and if there could be any uniqueness in the choice.
This shirt is made of a rayon-blend textile with a supple texture and drape, and invites an elegant mood with a mature, ethereal style.
The buttons, which are not positioned at the front or at the lapels, but are placed arbitrarily, are also an original thematic accent that sharply brings the entire garment together.
It can be worn with the attached co-woven belt to mark the waist, or buttoned up without a belt for a more relaxed look, giving it a variety of looks in daily styling.
