Design lapel dress with soft textiles and vivid colors creating new nuances.
This season's theme, “Wandering colors,” was inspired by the work of American abstract painter Mark Rothko and the concepts he tried to express.
We have sublimated into design the perspective of “a sense of life brought about by color” and “applied expression beyond the realm of color” that we found in his work.
The dress is made of wool gauze, which has a unique texture and softness, creating a luxurious mood and at the same time a moderately relaxed appearance.
Although it is a minimal dress, the unique balance of AKIRANAKA's original tailoring of the lapels gives it a certain individuality and leads to a modern elegance for adults that is not overbearing.
The colorful expression that encompasses this season's theme and the abstract transformation of classic details (figuration) give the dress an exciting and sophisticated style that takes everyday outfits to the next level.
