Combinaison with a new modern balance created by the different cuts on the left and right sides.
This season's theme, “Beyond the haze (unreachable reality),” was inspired by the work of German abstract painter Gerhard Richter and the concepts he tried to express.
We attempted to design by developing the “arbitrariness” found in his abstract paintings using a squeegee (a board-like tool used in place of a brush to spread paint).
The combinaison, in which randomly selected lapels of different shapes on the left and right sides are intentionally crossed into one, expresses new values and beauty created in its contingency.
According to his recommendation to “make everything equally important and everything equally unimportant,” we sought to see if the act of choosing between a newly drawn design and an existing design could be equated, and if there could be any uniqueness in the choice.
The material used is a back satin georgette with a beautifully falling feel, giving it a sophisticated, adult appearance with a certain individuality.
In addition, the arched arrangement of the buttons, which is not limited to the shape of the front arrangement, provides an original accent and a modern sense of rhythm.
The attached co-woven belt marks the waist, bringing the whole look together sharply, while the metal buckle adds a luxurious mood.
