Among these, we focused on developing the perspectives of ‘resonance through independent objects’ into design.
The philosophy of “One is the other, the other is one” that captivated Isamu Noguchi—the sense that “all is one, and one is all”—is reflected in the details. This expresses a uniquely Japanese balance where no single detail takes center stage, yet simultaneously, every detail has the potential to be the protagonist.
At first glance, this jacket appears minimalist, yet it embodies AKIRANAKA's signature individuality through its balanced details and body silhouette, showcasing the brand's masterful cutting techniques.
Its asymmetrical lapels lend a unique originality, while the use of linen-cotton fabric with a primitive texture creates a light, refreshing feel.
