This season's theme, “Wandering colors,” was inspired by the work of American abstract painter Mark Rothko and the concepts he tried to express.
We sublimated into our designs the viewpoints we found in his work of “detachment from figuration” and “creation of known details independent of composition."
While the yoke part from the waist is tailored like denim at first glance, the individuality of AKIRANAKA can be felt in the creative construction of the front pockets and the sharp silhouette.
The bold gathered flare of the seam, designed to flow from the front to the back, creates a modern and elegant balance.
By combining parts with different images intentionally and abstractly transforming the original details, new nuances are added.
The textile is made of cotton-wool twill material with a unique texture, giving a primitive impression with luxurious mood of a sophisticated adult can be felt.
The piece of this skirt with a modern personality given to mermaid silhouette of the elegant impression brings a powerful attitude to those who wear it.
