Asymmetrical lapel shirt characterized by a modern approach achieved through belt detailing.
This season's theme, ‘Silent Sculpture,’ draws inspiration from the works of sculptor Isamu Noguchi and the concepts he sought to express.
Among these, we focused on the perspective of ‘PRIMITIVE MODERN JAPANESE’ and developed it into a design concept.
This shirt incorporates the quintessentially Japanese act of “tying,” creating a new concept of "fastening" by wrapping the belt extending from the front edge around the body and tying it.
Like cache-coeur, the left side panel's belt is threaded from the inside of the body through the hole at the right side, then tied together at the left side, transforming the act of fastening itself into a design element.
This textile features a unique texture woven from rayon, nylon, and linen, with a subtle sheen and soft feel that creates a luxurious atmosphere.
With a minimal silhouette that harmonizes Japanese and Western elements, this piece can be worn as casually as a light jacket. It lends subtle individuality to everyday attire, guiding the wearer toward a sophisticated, witty style for the mature woman.
