This season's newly proposed original textile abstractly expresses the “flower” motif, symbolically used by AKIRANAKA, in block-like patterns, woven into a cut jacquard.
Woven using several different weave structures, the jacquard creates a three-dimensional texture impossible with print alone. Incorporating partial openwork patterns adds a striking contrast and depth.
The fabric uses a lightweight cotton with a supple texture, creating a primitive impression and a relaxed, mature atmosphere.
The base features a new wide-collar shirt design combining an elegant collar that beautifully frames the décolletage with trench coat details.
This design blends elements of a classic evening gown with a generously open décolletage, reminiscent of 1950s dresses, with the trench coat, originally born as military outerwear. It adds a fresh nuance to the refined woman's style.
