This season's theme, “Wandering colors,” was inspired by the work of American abstract painter Mark Rothko and the concepts he tried to express.
We have sublimated into our design the viewpoint of “permissibility and adjacency of existence” that we found in his work.
The lapels are finished without being folded back, the lengths are slightly different on the left and right sides, and the color composition of the outer and lining fabrics are allowed to exist as they are, creating a new balance by making them adjacent to each other.
This minimal box silhouette jacket is tailored in wool with a luxe texture, giving it an AKIRANAKA-like individuality in a sharp form.
This season's contextual piece will not only add sophistication to everyday wardrobe, but also give the wearer an intellectual appearance with a strong sense of individuality.
