The theme of this season, "Beyond the haze," draws inspiration from the works of German abstract painter Gerhard Richter. In particular, we focused on his concept of "Schein" (shine), which explores the idea of layering new elegance and intellect onto the wearer. The skirt, with its minimalist form and dynamic volume at the front, uses draping that emerges from within to visualize the "invisible middle layer" between the outer and inner, symbolizing "shine." Additionally, the diagonal zipper running across the front of the skirt provides a unique accent that tightens the overall design.
The fabric features modern graphic elements printed on cotton lace, offering just the right amount of coolness and relaxed air, creating effortless elegance for women. This piece, with its rich expression, adds a new nuance to a sophisticated adult presence.
Note: Schein / Shine — A concept that Richter sought to express throughout his life, referring to the layers of air (or light) between the observer and the object. It includes reflections or distortions on surfaces such as glass, water, or mirrors, which are not immediately perceptible but become apparent through reflections. Richter used the concept of shine to express the distance or barrier between reality and what can be captured in painting.
