Size Guide
A fresh pleated skirt with a fresh belt wrap detail that wraps around the body.
The pleats, which are folded in random widths rather than even widths, are derived from the “multifaceted perspective (※)” of Paul Cézanne's work, one of the elements that make up this season's theme, “The Beauty of Practice Pieces,” and expresses the loss of perspective and the beauty of the unbalanced three-dimensionality that flutters from a flat surface.
A fine, light wool blend is used as the material, adding a classic air feel to the luxurious appearance.
The thicker cotton is layered on the reverse side around the waist to create a contrast with the hems, which sway lightly, and to create a “different expressions with the same material,” by taking in a “multifaceted perspective on materials. The stiff waistband wraps around the body sharply and also makes the waist look clean and beautiful.
The upper edge of the waist is intentionally cut off, which not only adds a fragile accent but also projects the attitude of a woman who finds beauty in the process of making and in unfinished things.
The skirt, which creates a fresh mood that has never been seen in AKIRANAKA before, is minimal yet has a certain individuality, completing an intellectual style.
The wrap design allows the waist size to be adjusted with a belt and buckle.
※Multifaceted perspective : A method of perceiving an object not from a single viewpoint but from various perspectives and reconstructing the image seen from these perspectives in three dimensions. Abstract expression in which perspective and time axis are removed in pursuit of permanence and universality of the object.
