This denim jacket features a striking modern balance achieved through its original silhouette.
This season's theme, ‘Silent Sculpture,’ draws inspiration from the works of sculptor Isamu Noguchi and the concepts he sought to express.
Within this, we focused on developing the perspectives of ‘physicality’ and ‘BIO MORPHIC FORMS (volumes imbued with life)’ into our design.
Just as he believed sculpture, functioning as stage apparatus, could transform space into something imbued with meaning and emotion by relating it to the body, we visually expressed the beauty inherent in bodily movement and gesture.
The jacket creates a new balance with its compact body contrasting voluminous sleeves formed by organic seams extending from the torso. The unique form and flowing lines across the body combine to add powerful individuality and impact to feminine beauty.
This piece harmonizes everyday realism with modernity. Roughly rolling up the sleeves to draw out their volume creates an unparalleled, beautiful balance.
Furthermore, details like deliberately high-set pockets and subtle overlaps on the front, placed throughout to complement this sense of balance, embody its meticulous craftsmanship.
