This trench dress embodies a new modern elegance with its creative cutting and button detailing.
This season's theme, “Beyond the haze (unreachable reality),” was inspired by the works of German abstract painter Gerhard Richter and the concepts he tried to express.
We focused on the concept of “Schein” (*), which he tried to express, and wondered if we could layer a new elegance and intelligence to the wearer by incorporating Schein, which separates us from reality, as a symbolic design. We tried to create a new layer of elegance and intelligence for the wearer.
Buttons placed without being restricted by the shape of the front or lapel, and the belt that marks the waist with each lapel are sublimated as metaphors that remind us of “the existence of another dress that cannot be seen,” embodying his proposal “Schein/Shein Schein” is embodied in this collection.
The thematic and original accents add an arty and modern air to the overall dress.
The trench dress, made of fine cotton with a unique texture, offers sharp lines and a subtle femininity, creating a new harmony between strength and elegance.
It can be worn alone as a dress or layered with pants for a variety of coordinated looks.
Schein is a concept that Richter is said to have tried to express throughout his life. It refers to the layer of air (or light) between you and what you are facing. Schein is a general term for glass, lake surfaces, mirrored surfaces, and other objects that cannot be recognized instantly, but whose existence is recognized when they are reflected or reflected by something.
