This sleeveless dress features bold flare and panels at the front, creating a modern balance.
The theme for this season, "Beyond the haze" (an unattainable reality), draws inspiration from the works of German abstract painter Gerhard Richter. In particular, we focused on the concept of “Schein” (shine), which Richter sought to express, and attempted to layer new elegance and intelligence on the wearer by incorporating this symbolic design of the "shine" that separates us from reality. While maintaining a minimalistic presence, the dress incorporates dynamic volume at the front center, with draping that emerges from within. This innovative design symbolizes "shine" by making visible the invisible layers between the outside and inside. Additionally, the use of decorative buttons and uniquely shaped hemline details on the back adds a modern rhythm, combining seemingly unrelated elements to express the "arbitrariness" seen in Richter's iconic abstract paintings.
Crafted from a beautiful textile with a dry touch and unique weave, the light and refreshing texture elegantly drapes, adding fluidity to the wearer’s movements.
This piece, embodying the context of the season, adds color to the creativity of the wearer, while guiding them toward a poised look with a strong sense of individuality.
*Note: "Schein" – a concept Richter sought to express throughout his life, referring to the air (or light) layer between oneself and the object confronted. It refers to the subtle presence of something that cannot be immediately recognized but is made evident through reflections or impressions, such as on glass, water, or mirrors. Richter expressed the distance and barriers to reality that painting could not reach by depicting this "shine."
